There are thousands of garden tools and accessories on the market. Sometimes I see a new tool and I think I need it immediately! What if it saves me time, or turns out to be the most amazing tool ever!

I admit, I’m a little bit of a shopaholic when it comes to garden tools so I guess it’s fair to say that I’ve tried most of the tools out there. That being said, a lot of the tools I’ve tried have not been worth it.

Here is a list of my favorite tools & accessories to save you time and money in your garden endeavors.

Long Handled Garden Tools

We have a couple Radius brand shovels and garden forks that we use and love. They have many different sizes and types so choose which one best fits your needs. My favorite is the Pro-Lite 25202 Shovel and the 203 Pro Garden Fork. They are both very useful and have broken more than my fair share on shovels I have to recommend these.

Gloves

Gloves are a very important part of my garden tool collection. The best ones that I have ever used are Hyper Tough No-slip Grip Gloves. They are for men but I get the size small and they are perfectly fit. I have quite small hands so I feel that the size range on this brand is good.

The best part about these gloves is that they are fitted so it feels more like just my hands than if I had bulkier garden gloves on. And the other thing I like about them is I can grab hold of anything I need, thorns, rough bricks and wood and I don’t get scratched or poked and I can have a good grip on things.

Small Tools

These easy hose quick connect are a must have for quick, easy and, not drippy hose use. They are the best small garden tool!

Hoses

If you’ve started a garden at any time in your life then you know you need a hose at some time or another. Especially if you don’t have automatic watering set up.

Hoses can get heavy and be in the way because they just take up too much room. This Zero-G hose takes care of both of those problems. It expands and contracts with the water pressure and it’s very light weight. I have had many many many hoses that are similar to this one that have exploded with any water pressure but this one has lasted me for years! I have four of them and none of them have had any problems. This is a Win for me.

Hand Tools

My top two favorite hand tools have to be my Felco 2 Hand Pruners and my Hori Hori Knife. Both of these tools are on me at all times in the garden. I use them daily to get all types of work done.

Big Tools

One big garden tool that makes my life easier is the Gorilla Cart. It comes in many different sizes for any size of garden. It is easy to move around and makes dumping things a breeze. Super handy when you’ve got loads of soil, leaves, or plants to move around your yard.
