How to Make Adorable Homemade Edible Lavender & Honey Teaspoon Suckers

I first discovered how to make lavender & honey teaspoon suckers when I needed to make lavender candies for a project I was doing. I thought it would be a great idea if I made them on a little stick so we could stir our tea with them.

Tea Party

We love to have tea parties here at the farm. I grew up having tea parties with all my aunts and cousins. The table would be laden with delectable dishes from tiny fresh berry tarts to warm scones and beautiful finger sandwiches. Now i love to carry on the tradition with my little girl. Sometimes we just have a simple little tea in the garden with cookies and fresh mint tea. But every couple of weeks we have to go all out with the tiny desserts and fresh scones.

Somewhere along the line I found a recipe for homemade suckers and my brain flew to the idea of lavender suckers and from there the idea just grew. A sucker spoon for your tea was a great idea. I’d seen something like it at a store once and I wanted to make my own. So I researched how to make homemade suckers

I found a sucker mold and started experimenting on these lavender honey teaspoon suckers. The first batch I made were overwhelmingly lavender. So I tweaked the recipe and came up with these lavender honey teaspoons, with just a hint of lavender instead of a mouthful of soap.
