The Best Edible Lavender Honey Teaspoon Recipe

This Lavender honey teaspoon recipe is tasty and beautiful. The easy thing about them is that you don’t have to use a mould if you don’t have one. You can just spoon the candy over the stick on a piece of waxed paper.

Afternoon Tea

Starting in the spring we often have tea parties in our garden. I get asked daily for a tea party from my daughter so usually the fare is simple. But every couple of weeks we go all out and try new recipes for our afternoon tea. This last week I decided I wanted to make edible teaspoons.I’d seen this idea on social media and thought it was adorable and of course had to make a lavender version.

Everything You Need For Lavender Honey Teaspoon

The recipe is so simple and even if you don’t have molds you can still make these.

All you need:

Honey, Sugar, Water, Lavender essential oil, Candy thermometer, Cute molds or wax paper, Sucker sticks, Optional lavender buds.

Once your sugar has dissolved place your candy thermometer in the syrup. Heat until your candy thermometer reaches 300 degrees F (149 C).

Once it reaches this point drop three drops of lavender essential oil into the mixture. I don’t suggest adding much more than three drops because lavender can quickly become overpowering.

Pour into your sucker mold , or onto wax paper if you don’t have a mold, and stick your stick in. Let cool then stir your delicious herbal tea with them. They sweeten your tea as you stir. So smart.

The subtle hint of lavender in these rich honey teaspoons is perfect for any flavor of tea adding a sweet floral note.

Oh so lovely.

What’s your favorite tea party recipe? Do you go for aesthetically pleasing foods or delicious foods?
