Rhubarb Cake

Tender creamy cake with rich tangy rhubarb and sweet berries

Equipment

  • 9x13 cake pan
  • mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix oil and eggs for mixing the cake
  • 2 Cup Rhubarb sliced thin
  • 2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 1/2 Cup Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Mix Rhubarb and sugar together and let sit until juices dissolve the sugar a little bit
    Mix Cake according to directions on box
    Place cake batter in cake pan sprinkle rhubarb mixture over the cake batter
    Pour Cream over the cake.
    bake 30-40 minutes at 350. Cool for 10 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
    This rhubarb and cream will sink to the bottom of the cake and make a pudding-like consistency at the bottom of the cake and a cake texture on top
