- 4 Cups Sliced apples
- 1 1/2 Cups White Sugar
- 2 Sticks Butter
- 2 large Eggs
- 2 Cups White Flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg fresh ground
Caramel Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1/2 Cup White Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
1. Preheat oven to 350°2. Peel and slice the apples3. Add sugar to the apples4. Melt butter and add eggs, pour over apples. Let sit while you measure and sift dry ingredients5. Add dry ingredients to apple mixture and stir to combine.6. Place in well greased 9x13 pan and bake for 45 minutes
Sauce
Heat sugars and butter until bubbly. Add cream and stir in for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Serve over warm cake.
