When My husband lived in Greece he would eat this right on the ocean served to him by the friendly greek Ya-Ya’s who took great care of him (and made sure he ate well). When we got married he asked me to try and recreate this dish and after some trial and error we hit upon this Greek Farm Fresh meal.

  • Large 1 pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Raw Shrimp shelled, deveined
  • 1 lb Fresh cherry tomatoes
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 8 cloves garlic diced
  • 1/4 cup Sherry
  • 1 tsp anis ground
  • 8 oz feta crumbled

Instructions
 

  • In a small cup mix sherry with ground anis. let sit for 20 minutes
    Sautee the onions until slightly translucent. Add garlic and cook for one more minute
    Add the cherry tomatoes and cook for 5-8 minutes until tomatoes are soft.
    Add Sherry mixture and cook for another 5 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until the shrimp is barely pink about 8-10 minutes.
    Crumble the feta cheese over the top and serve with warm crusty bread for dipping.
